There is a car park outside the studio with limited spaces. Parking is available on a first come first serve basis. The car park is accessed opposite Pelham Street. Alternative parking options include the top of Mill Gate and ASDA Supermarket (although please note that ASDA is a 2 hour limit).
Wear anything comfortable that allows you to move freely (leggings, shorts, vests or t-shirts are all fine). All of our classes are practiced barefoot.
We have a changing room with private cubicles where you can change before or after your classes. We do not have any shower facilities at the studio.
We provide everything you need for all of our classes, but you’re welcome to bring your own yoga mat if you have one.
We have a few classes on our timetable that we would recommend for beginners, depending on what you’re hoping to get out of your practice. For more active classes, we recommend Yoga Basics and Alignment, All Levels Flow or Hot Hatha. If you’re looking for something a bit more relaxing, Yin or Candlelight are good options. On our timetable, there is a filter called “classes best for” and you can filter the classes by “Slower Paced and Perfect for Beginners” or “Deep Stretch and Relaxation”. You can view our full timetable here.
No, you do not need to be naturally flexible to do yoga. Yoga is a practice that can be adapted to your individual abilities and needs. In fact, yoga can help improve your flexibility over time with regular practice. Yoga is about much more than just flexibility. It encompasses various aspects of physical and mental well-being, including strength, balance, mindfulness and relaxation. Many yoga poses and sequences can be modified to accommodate different levels of flexibility.
We don’t offer a weekly pregnancy yoga class but we do run pre and post pregnancy workshops throughout the year. To stay up to date with all of the workshops and events at the studio we recommend subscribing to our mailing list here.
If you had a regular yoga practice prior to becoming pregnant then you are welcome to continue your practice in our classes. Please inform the teacher that you are pregnant before the start of the class so that they can offer you the appropriate modifications.
Our hot classes reach a temperature of approximately 34°C. We use infrared heaters which heats objects and surfaces directly rather than the air. Infrared heat waves penetrate the body’s tissues more deeply than conventional heating methods. This deep heat can help to increase blood flow and relax muscles, which can be particularly beneficial during yoga practice. In addition to the infrared heaters, we enhance your comfort in the studio by using Dyson heaters to quickly raise the air temperature, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment you step inside.
Aerial hammocks are very strong and durable by design. Our aerial hammocks can support up to 32 stone or 200kg.
We have an ever-growing number of men who regularly attend our classes. We don’t offer specific classes just for men, but you will find that there are men present in most of our classes.
You can book our regular weekly classes up to 7 days in advance. For workshops and events, these are usually available to book further in advance.
We provide an extensive range of classes on our timetable, ensuring that there’s typically ample availability for everyone to attend their class of choice. Some of our more popular classes can become fully booked, however we offer a waitlist option giving you the chance to secure a spot in the event of a cancellation.
We offer flexible options to cater to your specific needs. You have the choice to buy single class passes or opt for packages of 4, 8, or 12 passes, allowing you the flexibility to attend classes that align with your schedule and budget.
Our membership options are also flexible. Choose from 4, 8 or unlimited classes per month to fit your schedule.
If you purchase a block of classes passes (including the intro offer), you are not able to split these with a friend. You can purchase gift passes for your friend here. Your friend will need to create an account on our booking system in their own name and sign our online waiver form before attending their first class.
